This work-in-progress, throwing-ideas-about site, came about as a result of discussion during an Education Mini-Conference? at Brooklands. The original plan was to get like minded people together and share resources, ideas and see what others in a similar line were doing, with the aim of getting young people more involved in the world of aviation.

The general upshot was all very positive and there were some wonderful ideas about. A lot of people also mentioned the trouble with "re-inventing the wheel" so a central location to share ideas and resources without being tied to any one organisation seemed a good idea.

This was followed up with a second conference in November, also at Brooklands where further progress was made and even more organisations were represented. The agenda of the conference can be found here

To start populating this site there are links and summaries of what went on at the conference itself, but hopefully this can become something of a "portal" for people to collect information and share what works!
